Jacinta Collins
Executive Director, National Catholic Education Commission
The Honourable Jacinta Collins is a former Australian Senator serving over a 25-year period in a number of parliamentary portfolios including Deputy Leader in the Senate, Parliamentary Secretary for School Education and Workplace Relations, and Minister for Mental Health and Aging.
Before entering Parliament, Jacinta was a social worker and union official and was educated at Monash and La Trobe Universities.
Jacinta was appointed Executive Director of the National Catholic Education Commission in 2019 and is the Executive Secretary of the Bishops Commission for Catholic Education, a member of the Advisory Council for ACU’s public policy think tank, the PM Glynn Institute, and is a member of the Australian Schools Plus Member’s Committee.
