The Evening of Laudato Si'
Building the village of tomorrow
«Every change calls for an educational process
that involves everyone.
There is thus a need to create an “educational village”,
in which all people, according to their respective roles,
share the task of forming a network of open,
human relationships»
(Papa Francesco, For the launch of the global compact on education)
A journey, that of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians founded by Saint John Bosco and Saint Mary Domenica Mazzarello in 1872, which reaches its 150th anniversary: a particular Charism entrusted to the Founders lived faithfully and with dynamism.
A Memory that becomes history in the profound reflection proposed with the International Conference, within which - as a sort of programmatic introduction - is the LAUDATO SI 'EVENING - BUILDING THE VILLAGE OF TOMORROW.
A piece of the complex and challenging puzzle constituted by the global educational pact launched by Pope Francis is the determination to cooperate in a new model of development through the original contribution of the FMA to education.
Where the village is not only global but defines its own interconnections in digitization and is expressed through performative language.
The evening will be broadcast in live streaming from the Auditorium of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome
